Context

The national tax systems ran on aging servers in an uncooled room, with no redundancy or formalized disaster recovery plan — a major risk to the continuity of state revenue.

Solution

Novenvera designed and deployed a complete Tier III datacenter: VMware virtualization, redundant SAN storage, precision cooling and backup power sized for the local electrical context.

A disaster recovery solution was set up at a remote site, with failovers tested quarterly to guarantee a recovery time under four hours in the event of a major incident.

Results

The infrastructure has delivered over 99.9% availability since commissioning, with recovery failovers validated at every quarterly drill and a drastic reduction in operational risk to the tax systems.
