Public Health Mobile Application

Context

The Ministry of Health collected field epidemiological data on paper, with reporting taking several weeks — a delay incompatible with early outbreak detection.

Solution

Novenvera developed a Flutter mobile app letting health workers enter data directly in the field, with automatic synchronization as soon as connectivity is available.

The app works entirely offline — essential in rural areas with limited connectivity — and pushes data to a Firebase backend via a REST API once the network returns.

Results

The app is used daily by hundreds of agents across the country, cutting data reporting delay from several weeks to a few hours and enabling much earlier detection of epidemiological signals.
