A determined commitment
Congo is firmly committed to its digital transformation. Investment in digital infrastructure grew by 35% in 2024, driven by the public authorities’ will to modernize the administration.
This momentum shows in the numbers: new public data centers opening, expanding fibre coverage in major cities, and steadily rising ministerial digital budgets over the past three years.
The priority workstreams
The main workstreams concern the digitization of public services, fibre optic rollout and training state agents in digital tools.
Novenvera, as a privileged partner of this transformation, supports more than 10 institutions in this historic effort — from the Digital Ministry’s citizen portal to modernizing tax systems.
Remaining obstacles
Despite this progress, structural obstacles remain: uneven connectivity between Brazzaville, Pointe-Noire and the regions, a shortage of qualified technical skills, and resistance to change in administrations accustomed to paper processes.
